A hackathon focusing on the 115 years of recently digitized climate graphs from the Meteorology Laboratory Climatology Station of the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KOERI) was held on March 6–7, hosted by the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen, a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Education, has been awarded support under the PRESTİJ 2026 Research Fellowship Program, organized by the French Embassy. Within the scope of the program, Prof. Dr. Delen will conduct comprehensive research on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in science education.

To find an answer to this question, to which there is no clear legal answer, Özgür Arıkan, an assistant professor at Boğaziçi University Faculty of Law, has started his studies at Oxford University. The "legAIstatus" project, which is part of the European Union's (EU) Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), aims to guide lawmakers on the intellectual property rights of artificial intelligence.
