Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen Receives Research Fellowship from France

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen, a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Education, has been awarded support under the PRESTİJ 2026 Research Fellowship Program, organized by the French Embassy. Within the scope of the program, Prof. Dr. Delen will conduct comprehensive research on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in science education.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen Receives Research Fellowship from France

With the support provided through the PRESTİJ 2026 program of French Embassy, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen from Boğaziçi University’s Department of Mathematics and Science Education will examine the role of artificial intelligence in science education.

As part of the fellowship, Prof. Dr. Delen will establish a strategic collaboration with the CRIStAL Laboratory at Université de Lille in France. During the research process, he will work together with Prof. Dr. Yvan Peter to study how artificial intelligence can be integrated into science education processes, particularly in teaching and assessment mechanisms.

The project aims to strengthen scientific and academic collaboration between Türkiye and France. The research is expected to contribute to the production of innovative and high-quality outputs in the field of science education, while also providing strategic insights into the role of artificial intelligence in modern education systems.

Coordinated by the French Embassy, the PRESTİJ program aims to support successful academics from Türkiye in developing joint projects with research centers in France and to enhance scientific cooperation between the two countries.
