RS Research, which carries out drug development activities by initiating fundamental scientific research within Boğaziçi University’s infrastructure, has successfully completed the Phase 1 clinical trial of Türkiye’s first original drug candidate.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen Receives Research Fellowship from France
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen, a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Education, has been awarded support under the PRESTİJ 2026 Research Fellowship Program, organized by the French Embassy. Within the scope of the program, Prof. Dr. Delen will conduct comprehensive research on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in science education.

Assistant Professor Berat Haznedaroğlu Receives Award for Microalgae Research
As part of the 2024 awards by the Turkey Technology Development Foundation (TTGV), Assistant Professor Berat Haznedaroğlu from Boğaziçi University’s Environmental Sciences Institute was awarded the "Dr. Akın Çakmakcı Leading Researcher Award" for his work in the development of high-value-added products based on algae.

Minister Al Attiyah Discusses The Middle East At Boğaziçi Lectures
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Qatar, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, and the Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and Boğaziçi Fellow in Global Studies, Dr. Hulusi Akar, were guests at the Boğaziçi Lectures. During the lecture titled “Global and Regional Challenges in the Middle East",” Minister Al Attiyah stated: “Our partnership with Türkiye goes far beyond ordinary cooperation; it is a strategic partnership. As Qatar, we will continue to support Türkiye in all areas, such as energy and trade.”

21 Scientist From Boğaziçi University Are Included In The List Of The Most Influential Scientist In The World
The annual list of the world's most influential scientists has been announced. Boğaziçi University managed to be included in the list with 21 scientists in the category of "career-long impact" and 21 in the category of "annual impact".
