Organized by the Department of Business Administration at Boğaziçi University, the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Leaders Program Series aims to connect students with prominent figures in the fields of entrepreneurship and transformational leadership. The first event of the series took place on December 16 at the Natuk Birkan Building on Boğaziçi University’s South Campus, where Steven Kinvi discussed his perspectives on the startup ecosystem, growth strategies, and leadership processes.

During his talk, Steven Kinvi addressed the startup ecosystem in the EMEA region, the strategic role of accelerator programs, and the fundamental principles of building strong and scalable ventures in today’s dynamic markets. He also participated in an interactive session with Orkun Oğuz from the Department of Business Administration at Boğaziçi University, engaging with students on topics such as critical decision-making for entrepreneurs, the challenges of scaling a venture, and leadership under pressure. The session provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas on entrepreneurial mindset, managing uncertainty, and leading effectively in rapidly changing environments.

The Innovative and Entrepreneurial Leaders Program aims to create a sustainable platform for interaction between academic knowledge and the entrepreneurial ecosystem by hosting globally influential innovation leaders at Boğaziçi University. The program is positioned as a key component of the university’s vision focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.

As part of the program, leading figures who have made pioneering contributions to entrepreneurship and created transformative impact across various sectors will meet with Boğaziçi University students on a monthly basis. Through these gatherings, the program seeks to enable students to gain first-hand insights into current global trends, draw inspiration, and engage with experiences that can help shape their future career paths.
