The Entrepreneurial and Transformational Leaders Series Continues at Boğaziçi
Organised by Boğaziçi University's Department of Business Administration, the latest guest at the Entrepreneurial & Transformational Leaders event, part of the Distinguished Speaker Series, was Murat Özyeğin, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Fiba Group. At the event, held on 3 March 2026 at the South Campus, Özyeğin shared his experiences and strategic perspective on his leadership journey with students.
ADAPTING TO CHANGE FOR SUSTAINABLE VALUE
During the discussion held at the Demir Demirgil Hall, Murat Özyeğin shared his views on entrepreneurship, transformational leadership, and strategies for creating sustainable value in a global competitive environment.
Emphasising that leaders must not only manage the present but also design the future in the face of rapidly changing global dynamics, Özyeğin conveyed his strategic decision-making approach with examples from Fiba Group's transformation processes.

VISIONARY ADVICE FOR YOUNG LEADERSHIP CANDIDATES
At the meeting, which served as a guide for students at the beginning of their career journey, Özyeğin emphasised that making a difference in the entrepreneurial ecosystem requires innovative thinking, bold decision-making and a strong leadership vision. Drawing attention to the most obvious path to global success, Özyeğin highlighted the importance of technology and digitalisation. He illustrated how this transformation has fundamentally changed the way business is conducted, using examples from his own field experience.
The event, which saw high attendance, concluded with a question-and-answer session. Özyeğin directly shared his experiences by answering students' questions ranging from career planning to leadership practices.
