Boğaziçi University rises in THE World University Rankings 2024

Boğaziçi University has moved from the 801-1000 band to the 601-800 band in the "World University Rankings 2024" prepared by the London-based Times Higher Education (THE). Boğaziçi University achieved the highest score in the evaluation criteria for university-industry collaboration.

In THE World University Rankings 2024, 1904 universities from 108 countries were evaluated, including 75 from Turkey. THE evaluated universities on the criteria of "quality of teaching," "research environment," "quality of research," "university-industry collaboration," and "international outlook." Boğaziçi University achieved its highest score in the evaluation criteria of university-industry collaboration.

UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION SCORES THE HIGHEST

The university achieved the highest score in the "University-Industry collaboration" with 59.6 points and in the "quality of research" category with 57.4 points, which measures the impact of research. This is followed by the "international outlook" category, which deals with international students and cooperation, with 50.6 points.

In the overall rankings, Oxford University from the United Kingdom secured first place, followed by Stanford University from the United States in second place and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in third place.
